As a young stylist, Benny Van de Velde stands out through his original, highly personal yet creative approach, and the interpretation of the assignments entrusted to him.
The passion and determination so characteristic of Benny originate from his career as a competitive cyclist.
Thereafter, he decided to concentrate on his other passion: styling, fashion and fashion-related applications. This led him to the world of creating couture ensembles and masterminding the styling for fashion shows, events, parties and photo shoots.
He is currently carrying out various assignments (styling, photo shoots, fashion shows,events). He followed a course fashion and design at the Syntra Campus in Brussels in order to further sharpen his knowledge and experience in the area of silhouettes, creative design, patterns, finishing techniques, accessories, textile exploring and commercial design.
In parallel, he devotes himself to the development and follow-up of artistic activities and performances for company events and parties.
As a stylist he also assists with photo shoots and fashion shows.
Travelling is in his blood, and various trips and stays abroad are offering him the opportunity to gain a better insight into other cultures as well as giving him a clear picture of the widest possible variety of forms of expression in fashion, design and styling.
The foundations have been laid and he is now building further on a professional career in this sector.

To create his “chapeaus” and “coiffes” he works in close harmony with famous modiste and milliner Christ Vermandere (Brussels).
Benny Van de Velde has been chosen amongst more then 200 candidtes as one of the 12 finalists for the reality TV programm "De Designers", broadcasted by VTM and based on the format "Project Runway".
The production team recognised him for his exceptionnel styling skills.
Immediately after he started collaborating with styling agency "C'est Chic" in Brussels. And After with "Touch" (Dominique Models)
He recently became assistant to highly acclaimed stylist, Benoît Béthume.
